Our close family and friends are staying with us at Ellingham Hall the night before the wedding and the night of the wedding. All of the rooms at Ellingham hall have been reserved, but there are plenty of other options for accomodation. This includes hotels and Airbnbs. Transport

The distance between the church and Ellingham Hall is a short walk. Ideally, we would like guests to park at Ellingham hall and walk over to the church for the ceremony, and then to walk back to Ellingham hall for the reception. If the weather is very bad (which you can never predict when it comes to the UK!) or if you have mobility issues, there is a car park outside the church, but there is not room for many cars. Therefore, if required, we would appreciate if a limited number of cars help transport guests back and forth from the church and Hall, perhaps in several trips. All this to say, we haven't arranged formal transport, but aren't too worried about it at this stage (and hope you aren't as well!).

Attire

We request formal attire, and spring colours are encouraged. Our bridal and groom parties are wearing sage green. We've been asked a few times already, and we really don't mind if guests also wear sage green, or in fact any other shade of green. We politely ask if ladies can refrain from wearing white or white adjacent colours (such as beige or cream), thank you in advance! You may want to make sure you have comfortable shoes to participate in our Ceildh and dancing later in the evening.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, we are limited in the number of people we can have at our wedding, so we do not have room for plus ones. Only named guests are able to come.

Can I bring my baby or child?

We are looking forward to welcoming a number of little ones to our wedding. We also have a specific menu for little ones. Your presence at our wedding is a gift enough, as well as the love and support we receive as a couple. We also know that weddings can be expensive, once you factor in travel, and many of our guests have travelled from abroad. We are therefore not expecting any gifts, and do not have a registry. If you would like to gift us something, cash to help us fund our honeymoon will be gratefully received. In keeping with our values, we are donating 10% of any monetary gifts received to a charity close to our hearts, <a href="https://www.maggies.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Maggie's cancer care</a>. Alternatively, we would feel incredibly honoured if you were to give <a href="https://www.maggies.org/get-involved/donate/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">directly to Maggie's charity</a> in our names as our wedding present.
